Dry scrubber type is suitable for emission control of low flow stream and low moisture content.
They have layers of media fit to adsorb the pollutants from the foul gas stream.
The dry scrubber can have only one layer of material (generally activated granular carbon), or various layers of different materials (one of them is, for example, oxidizing alumina) in order to carry out several patterns of control (chemical and physical) on the pollutants of the foul gas stream.
